Known sometimes as the "NCTM Research Handbook" or simply "The Handbook," the Second Handbook of Research on Mathematics Teaching and Learning is a project of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. This is an update of NCTM's first research handbook, the 1992 Handbook of Research on Mathematics Teaching and Learning.
